![]() I went down to the retail store instead, and found out there is nothing they can do until their systems are back up. Since the phone is locked, I have no way to call Verizon Support. The only way to unlock the phone now is to enter a PUK code, which Verizon does not give you when you buy your phone. I entered (read: tried to create) a password twice, and BAM. it already has a default password, and was asking me to enter that. Under See device options, select Get your PIN unlock key (PUK). Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device that needs a PUK code. I thought the phone was asking me to enter (read: create) the password for the SIM card, but nope. How to unlock a SIM with a PIN unlock key (PUK) Go to your account overview and open the My wireless section.
